NOBBL - Newcastle League

Yeeeesssssss! At last Newcastle has its own Blood Bowl league. Loosely organised around the The Outpost Games Bunker, the first season has kicked off. Games may be played at the Outpost shop or arranged elsewhere, with a turnaround of 1 fortnight per round. The league is using LRB5 with some very minor modifications, all seen over by the iron-fisted Commish Shannan Skehan.

If you are interested in joining up in the future just drop a note in the NOBBL forum or PM me (or Shannan, once he's on here!)

Friday the 13th November marks our first postseason / preseason challenge night for the Melbourne League run out of Good games in Lonsdale street.

Come see our forum in the league section for more details but we are running a night of challenges and grudge matches, as well as an open 'pool' where any one can come along even if they havnt organinsed a challenge and will go in a random draw .

Kickoff is at 7:30 and the 'pool' is open to anyone even non league members who want to get a taste of Blood Bowl action. We ask for people to be there by about 7:15 if they want to put their name in the random draw.

There may be a small charge on the night but will be as little as we possibly can make it. $5 or less and that only if we cant cover it out of league funds. .

Come all Melbournites and even if you only happen to be visiting for our first ever ...

SLOBB SEASON III - The Chaos Cup

As you will see if you have a look at the trophy, the Chaos Cup is
not exactly the most desirable of objects to win. The status it
carries, however, is second only to the Blood Bowl. Originally
known as the Whiteskull Challenge Cup, it was played for by
eight top teams from the AFC while the conference winners were
away competing in the Blood Bowl. With the collapse of the NAF
in ’88 the Chaos Cup became the first trophy to be given away in
the new style ‘Open’ tournaments.

The Sydney League of Blood Bowl (SLOBB) is about to wrap up
season 2, and is looking to commence season 3 playing for the
Chaos Cup in October. The League runs two streams. A Fixed
league setup, with pools and an 8 team finals campaign, with a
1 game a month commitment, played out over 6-8 months. As
well as an Open league where a more traditional league setup
takes place, and where teams line up their own opponents as they
please. This is designed to give people regular Blood Bowl, while
also catering to those who have the time to play a whole lot more.

SLOBB is the premier league in NSW with some of the top coaches
in Australia calling it home. A SLOBB team recently took out the
teams competition at Eucalyptus Bowl 09' So if you are looking for
a challenge or even want to learn the ropes, you will find a friendly
environment amongst experienced and beginner coaches at SLOBB.

For more information please peruse the SLOBB forums right here on
AusBowl. Or check out our website at:
http://www.slobb.doubleskulls.net/index.php

Any one interested in joining for season 3 please contact myself via
PM. We are looking for coaches to play atleast one game in the open
league before being granted a spot in the main draw. But any late
comers are more than welcome to get their feet wet first in the open
league, and may find themselves offered a fixed position should there
be any dropouts.

SWL Season XXIX soon to commence

The 29th season of the Southern Wastes League will kick off shortly on FUMBBL. For the uninitiated FUMBBL is an online client for playing Blood Bowl which uses LRB4. The SWL is a league set up specifically for people in the Oceania timezones, with its own irc chatroom and separate fluff website. Check it out at fumbbl.com and http://swl.servegame.org/swl/ and if you need a hand with anything just give me a yell.

FOTMBBL season 5 starting soon

FOTMBBL Season 5 is only 6 weeks away. This a call out to new coaches wishing to join the league.
It is based in the Penrith/Lower Blue Mountains area, but you do not have to live in this region. You do however have to commit to traveling to this area to play your games.

1 game per fortnight is all that needs to be commited to.
Perpetual teams and rookie teams are used in this league.

If interested head over to the FOTMBBL forum and present your expression of interest.

SLOBB SEASON II - The Dungeon Bowl

The Sydney League of Blood Bowl (SLOBB) is about to wrap up Season I (Spike Magazine Trophy), and will be recommencing with Season II in March. SLOBB is a laid back league with a 1 game a month commitment. There is also an open league for those that either cant commit to a fixed league, or those that just need more Blood Bowl. SLOBB is the premier league in NSW, with all the top coaches (including possibly the best Coach in Australia in Ian "Doubleskulls" Williams), so if you fancy yourself as a handy coach, or simply want to learn the ropes from the best. Then this is the league for you. The league plays under LRB 5.0 (including the latest Experimental ruleset), and we are more than happy to show new coaches the ropes, or refresh grizzled veterans with the latest ruleset. This upcoming seasons final will even feature the old Dungeon Bowl rules, modified where necessary to suit LRB 5.0.

Feel free to check out our website at http://www.slobb.doubleskulls.net/index.php

Our Forums are right here on AusBowl, so please peruse them, and if you have any questions or would like to join the league, please dont hesitate to drop me a PM.

Legacy Team Decided - Chaos Pact

Chaos Pact teams are a mix of evil and chaotic races. The Marauders while enthusiastic have to be
coached to fill the different needs of the team while other races provide the muscle and fineness to
support the Marauders. However due to the arrogance, stupidity, or animalistic nature of the team
members, it is rare to see a well organized and effective Chaos Pact team. The Chaos All-Stars are the
best example of how great this team can be with the right coach.

If you wish to be involved in the annual AusBowl Legacy team find the appropriate posts in the Hobby Forums and let your voice be heard.
